My experience in business is extremely broad, covering most aspects of day-to-day general business management. The skills that I rely upon today were first learnt in my early retail career, where I had the pleasure of working for several household brands, including PC World, WH Smith Do It All and Toymaster.

Having worked my way up, from the shop floor to running larger businesses as the Chief Executive Officer, I still apply the same common sense approach in delivering good business practice.

I have gained incredible hands on experience and an in depth knowledge throughout my career and highlight some of my key achievements below:

Vyke Communications plc – Chief Operating Officer

Key achievements

  • Successfully integrated Callserve Communications into Vyke Communications plc ahead of schedule, without loss of business
  • Streamlined operations of the combined businesses, influencing Board decision to relocate Group operational focus from USA to UK
  • Maintained team motivation and improved performance

Freeserve plc

Key achievements

  • Formulated and implemented a business development strategy and recruited a successful sales team
  • Developed a strategy for an online shopping mall experience, to attract large volumes of customers to the Freeserve portal
  • Personally responsible for closing multi-million pound contracts
  • Played my part in helping Freeserve to become a household name and Internet phenomenon

A distinguished early career, working for several household brands such as PC World, WH Smith Do It All and Toymaster. I held many varied roles from general store management through to regional operational responsibility.

Callserve Communications Ltd – Chief Executive Officer

Key achievements

  • Lead turnaround strategy, conducting reviews to identify business expansion opportunities
  • Developed new business plans to gain Board, investor and management support
  • Streamlined existing operations, delivering immediate & long term cost savings
  • Established cash flow positivity ahead of schedule and moved business into operational profitability
  • Lead formal merger and acquisition process, to secure long term stability for the business
  • Identified and negotiated sale of the business to Vyke Communications plc

Getmedia plc
